Common questions
How long will the power be off?
Most upgrades in an existing home are done within a day, with the power off for part of it. We'll confirm the timing in your quote so you can plan around it.
Do I need my consumer mains upgraded too?
Not always. If you're adding big loads like air con or an induction cooktop, we'll check the mains cable and tell you whether it needs upgrading — and handle it with Energex if it does.
Can you quote from a photo?
Often, yes. A clear photo of the open board and the meter box usually tells us most of what we need.
